Aun Chaudhry approaches SC to impose ban on PTI

ISLAMABAD: The leader of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Aun Chaudhry, approached the Supreme Court of Pakistan to impose ban on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf(PTI).

Aun Chaudhry who is also Advisor to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on Tourism and Sports, filed a petition to impose ban PTI. Aun Chaudhry filed a petition in the Supreme Court in his capacity.

In the petition, a ban on PTI requested over anti-state and state institutions policies of the party while legal activities against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf have also been justified for the ban.

In the petition by Aun Chaudhry, the attack on the institutions and memorials of the martyrs by the PTI leadership has also been justified.

Earlier, a District and Sessions Court of Islamabad issued summon notice to PTI chairman and his wife Bushra Bibi for July 13 in Nikkah case.

Sessions Judge East Azam Khan heard the citizen’s surveillance appeal.

A citizen Muhammad Hanif challenged the civil judge’s decision to declare the complaint inadmissible.
