Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf on Thursday submitted written requests to the Supreme Court of Pakistan to declare Sections 2 and 3 of the Review Act null and void.

The detailed answer to the SC stated that the legislation was hastily enacted to benefit Nawaz Sharif.
Added that the revision cannot be converted into the right of appeal without a constitutional amendment.
The answer mentioned that Sections 2 and 3 of the Review Act are unconstitutional and Sections 4 to 7 shall automatically cease after Sections 2 and 3 are repealed.
Added the Parliament can increase the power of the Judiciary but cannot reduce it.
