LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan filed a contempt of court petition against the police action at his residence – Zaman Park – in the Lahore High Court (LHC).

PTI chief approached LHC against the action taken by Police at Zaman Park and the petition was filed by advocate Azhar Siddiqui on behalf of Imran Khan.

The petition was filed by PTI – caretaker government of Punjab, Chief Secretary Punjab and others were made parties.

Pertinently, Police is being conducting an operation at Zaman Park and several PTI workers are arrested from the spot.

The police have cordoned off the area by placing containers and heavy deployment of security officials has been made in regard to the operation at Zaman Park.
