Prince Harry declined to participate in a panel discussion in London on the future of royal reporting, where his complaints against the British media were also discussed.
Harry has claimed the media of collaborating with road family members against him and Meghan Markle.
In his recently released book, “Spare,” he also made claims against the press.
Camilla Tominey, associate editor and news presenter, launched the Society of Editors’ Media Freedom Conference in London.
She informed the audience that the Duke of Sussex had not responded to a request for participation.
According to the story, the panel reviewed a variety of concerns Harry levelled at the media in his frank memoir Spare.
“We did invite Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, to take part in this panel but he declined to respond,” Ms Tominey said as she kicked off the debate, which featured royal editors from different news outlets.
Before the debate, some quotes from Harry’s book were read aloud at the conference.
