PSL 2023: Islamabad United, who recently defeated Multan Sultans in an exciting triumph, will now play Lahore Qalandars on March 9 at Rawalpindi’s Pindi Club Field.
Importantly, the Qalandars are in incredible form right now, having won five of their past six league games. Shaheen Shah Afridi’s team won’t be very concerned despite losing to Peshawar Zalmi in their previous game and will be hoping to rebound against Islamabad.
The hosts, meanwhile, have won five of their most recent six games with an intriguing one-loss streak against the Qalandars in the middle. Due to their outstanding middle-order batting, they have won their last three games. They now need to improve their bowling a little more before the qualifiers because the Shadab Khan-led team has been leaking a lot of runs in these games.
