LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has withdrawn his protective bail applications in three cases.
Earlier on Wednesday, the PTI chief had filed three protective bail pleas in two terrorism cases and one case registered in Quetta.
Imran’s lawyers said that the applications had been withdrawn due to security concerns, adding that however, the PTI chief wanted to appear before the court to face his cases.
They further said that there is a fear of Imran’s arrest by the police.
Later, talking to media at Zaman Park residence of Imran Khan, PTI Senator Shibli Faraz said that PTI chief Imran Khan is ready to appear before Lahore High Court for his cases but the residence of Zaman Park has been surrounded.
He further said that there were also security concerns and Imran’s life was under severe threat.
Faraz said that they had confirmed information that Imran Khan could be attacked again, adding that the imported government wanted to surround Imran Khan.

He added that 78 cases have been registered against Imran Khan, adding that however, the law, constitution and people of Pakistan stand by Imran and PTI.
The PTI senator said that they were being stopped from political activities as the Section 144 had been imposed in Lahore. Tehreek-e-Insaaf is the largest party of Pakistan, he maintained.
“We have not learned any lessons from history. Election is the only way to get rid of this incompetent and ineffective government,” he added.
