The Habs actress experienced an emotional breakdown after receiving negative attention for her wedding dress, which many people mistakenly believed resembled the attire of an Indian bride, and having the privacy of the celebration violated by uninvited plus ones. She even questioned her ability to handle the spotlight.
The actress from Thoda Sa Aasman responded by posting a number of Instagram stories in which she bemoaned the lack of fundamental manners in society and berated everyone who had tormented her while hiding behind their phone’s screen because they did not realise the degree of the harm their comments might cause. In order to focus on the new phase of her life, the Bashar Momin actress cancelled her Instagram account and took a break.

Several of her admirers were displeased and criticised the Ru Rum Ishq Tha singer for being treated unfairly when she should have been ecstatic. Shah returned to shock everyone in reaction to the love and supportive comments from social media users.
