In the 22nd game of the Pakistan Premier League (PSL) season 8 at Rawalpindi on Monday, Karachi Kings’ wicket-keeper batsman Adam Rossington hit a game-winning blow as they forced Quetta Gladiators to score 165 runs in 20 overs.
Aamer Yamin made a brief cameo and then struck in his first over for Karachi Kings to give them an early breakthrough. Naseem Shah got off to a fantastic start and Aimal Khan took out Tayyab Tahir in the fourth over.
Rossington maintained his composure despite his team losing a few wickets in a hurry during the powerplay. Imad Wasim, the team’s captain, maintained his form and scored 30 runs off 20 balls, including three boundaries and a six.
Aamer scored a cameo of 23 off 11 after smashing two maximums and a boundary. Mohammad Nawaz and Naveen each shared one wicket.
