The on-field altercation between pacer Haris Rauf and skipper Shadab Khan of Islamabad United on Monday during a Pakistan Super League (PSL) season eight-game has been resolved.

Shadab didn’t look overjoyed with Rauf’s send-off after being dropped during the run-chase.

During the post-game press conference, Rauf said, “It was a fun moment and these things happen between friends.

We’ve been friends for a very long time, and we’ve played a lot of cricket together, he continued.

It should be mentioned that Qalandars defeated United by 110 runs during the game to claim the top spot in the standings.

Here is the response on Twitter:

Choosing to bat first, Lahore set a lofty target of 201 runs before dismissing Islamabad for 90 runs in 13.5 overs, largely due to the outstanding bowling of David Wiese and a stunning innings by Abdullah Shafique (46 runs in 24 balls) (3-17).

On March 19, the final and closing ceremony will take place in Lahore, which will also serve as the site of the playoffs.

In addition to receiving the Supernova Trophy, the victor will also receive a check for Rs120 million, while the losers will each receive a check for Rs48 million.

Qalandars will try to become the first team to win consecutive championships, while Islamabad United will try to make history by winning the trophy three times.
