ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and Chairman PTI Imran Khan is expected to be arrested on the occasion of his appearance in the Islamabad High Court, BOL News cited sources.

As per details, after the withdrawal of Imran Khan’s bail application from the District Court of Islamabad, there is a fear of Imran Khan’s arrest.

Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan’s lawyer Dr. Babar Awan has withdrawn the bail application filed in the court of Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal in the case of protest outside the Election Commission.

Sources have also revealed that a high-level consultation took place regarding the arrest of Imran Khan.

Police sources claimed that they can arrest Imran Khan if the Interior Ministry ordered.

Notably, Imran Khan is appearing before banking court today in the funding case.

Strict security measures have been taken due to the threat alerts and hundreds of PTI supporters have gathered to support the party chairman.
