- Rain turned weather in Lahore, adjoining areas

LAHORE: Rain accompanied by fresh breezes turned the weather pleasant in Lahore and its adjoining area this morning.
The meteorological department has predicted more rain in the region during the next 24 hours.
The areas of the city which received light rain or drizzle include Chaubarji, Jail Road, Kalma Chowk, Kot Lakhpat and Township.
The temperature in the city was recorded at 20 degree Celsius in the morning. Light rain and drizzle also improved the city’s air quality index, with Lahore standing fourth in the world’s most polluted cities – three points better than where it was the day before.
Meanwhile, it also rained in various cities of Punjab province including Sheikhupura, Muridke, Kandian, Sangla Hill, Kamalia, Kala Shah Kaku, Farooqabad and their adjoining areas.
Apart from this, the weather remains pleasant in Islamabad as well and the met department has predicted that thundershowers are likely to hit the city soon.
