SALIWAL: Senior Vice President and Chief Organiser of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz has linked the conduct of elections with end of Nawaz Sharif’s case.
She said this while addressing a party’s workers convention in Sahiwal on Monday.
She said: “Elections will be held after the conviction of innocent Nawaz Sharif is overturned.”
She said that fisrt justice must be done with Nawaz Sharif and Imran Khan must be brought to justice then the elections would be held in the country, adding that first justice would be done then the elections would be held.
She claimed that Nawaz Sharif had made the country an atomic power in the world and provided cheap electricity, gas and daily use items, adding that Pakistan had made impressive progress in the reign of Nawaz but when he was ousted, the country had nosed down.
She again lambasted the five judges of the Supreme Court and a retired general and held them responsible for the destruction of the country.
She asserted that the PML-N had to honour the agreement made by Imran Khan with the IMF, bringing a storm of inflation in the country and making life of common people miserable.
Despite all these problems, the PML-N would sweep the up-coming elections, she maintained and added the election must be held in time but before it justice must be done and all cases against Nawaz Sharif must be ended.
She further said that Nawaz was called God of Father and Sicilian Mafia, claiming that even today the judiciary is providing relief to Imran Khan,

She maintained that polls would be conducted in the country when the vote is given respect.
The PML-N leader said that her party was not afraid of elections, adding that they were preparing for the upcoming polls.
“The elections will be held after PTI Chairman Imran Khan will be measured on the same standards of justice set for Nawaz Sharif,” she added.
The PML-N leader asserted that the polls would be held when the “watch thief” is brought to justice. Maryam accused Bushra Bibi, former first lady, of receiving a five-carat diamond for approval of each file during the past PTI-led government.
