Saeed’s reaction drew a lot of criticism on Twitter from individuals who noted that the “Suno Chanda” actor had done nothing to raise awareness about floods and was replying to detractors in a condescending manner.

People also condemned his insensitive remark and his failure to identify the actors’ faux insensitivity when they declined to use their platforms to raise money for Pakistan’s floods.

i get where you are coming from, but right now, it is not about the revenue but about the angle of insensitivity that cannot be brushed under the rug, the award show was happening at the EXACT same time when millions of people had lost their homes and lives in the floods.
