In the first game of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 at the Multan Cricket Stadium, the Lahore Qalandars set the Multan Sultans a 176-run goal.

Shaheen Afridi is in command of the reigning champions Qalandars while Mohammad Rizwan is in charge of Multan. The Sultans had won the toss and chosen to field first.
