Federal Minister for Railways Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad has been discharged from Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi after he defeated coronavirus.

Sheikh Rasheed’s Covid-19 reports came out negative yesterday.

He expressed gratitude to the hospital staff before going home.

He had tested positive for coronavirus and had been taken to the hospital on June 11.

The Railway Minister had said that there were no symptoms of Corona virus but after the test was positive, he is isolating himself at home and will have his test again in a week. He was later rushed to a military hospital in critical condition. Sheikh Rashid Ahmed requested prayers from the nation.

Federal Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed also said  earlier that he was undergoing treatment at Hospital while doctors and nursing staff were treating him to the best of their ability.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed said that people should take precautionary measures and stay at home.
