Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori offered his condolence to Begum Sehba Musharraf and son Bilal Musharraf over the demise of former President General Pervez Musharraf on Friday.
The Governor Sindh visited the residence of former army chief and met the deceased’s family in Karachi. Tessori prayed, “May Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant patience to the grieved family.”
He paid rich tribute to the services of the former president for the country’s development and prosperity.
He recalled that Pervez Musharraf had unshakeable belief in the slogan of “Pakistan First (Sab Se Pehle Pakistan)” and upheld the slogan till his last breath.
He further said that Gen Musharraf had defended the interests of Pakistan at every international fora and every news TV channels including Indian ones across the world.

Former president General Pervez Musharraf died after a long illness in Dubai on Sunday (Feb 5) aged 79.
Musharraf, who was president between 2001 and 2008, had survived numerous assassination attempts, and found himself on the front line of the struggle between militants and the West.
He supported the US “war on terror” after 9/11 despite domestic opposition.
In 2008 he suffered defeat in the polls and left the country six months later.
When he returned in 2013 to try to contest the election, he was arrested and barred from standing.
He was charged with high treason and was sentenced to death in absentia only for the decision to be overturned less than a month later.
He left Pakistan for Dubai in 2016 to seek medical treatment and had been living in exile in the country ever since.
