Taking to twitter he wrote:
Alhamdulilah. Today is a blessed day for me and my family. My baraat. I hope I can be a good husband to my wonderful wife. A huge thank you to everyone for respecting my family’s privacy.

The nikkah was performed at a small mosque in Karachi in the presence of both families’ close relatives.
The pair had already been engaged for two years.
Soon after the nikkah, a reception was organised, with squash legend Jahangir Khan and Pakistan cricketers Babar Azam, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Naseem Shah, and Shadab Khan among those in attendance.
