  • Khan said his party was mulling over participating in APC

LAHORE: Without naming anyone, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday said they were planning to disqualify him to bring back Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Bol News reported.

Talking to a group of journalists, including Bol News reporter, at his Lahore residence, Imran Khan said they were trying to implement the minus Imran Khan policy. He said formation of the larger bench in Tyrian White case was good for him.

He said he made a mistake in identifying former army chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa. “Giving extension to General Bajwa was my life’s biggest mistake,” he said.

The PTI chief said he would give himself into police custody in the ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’ (fill jails movement). He said it would take him two weeks to get fully recovered. After getting recovered, he would lead the movement, he maintained.

He said he had no contact with anyone and if somebody came for talks, he would tell him that constitutionally the elections should be held within 90 days of dissolution of the assemblies. “Implementation on the constitution is a job of relevant institutes,” he said.

Imran Khan also said that his party was mulling over participating in the “All Parties Conference”. They wanted to go into elections by tying his hands and feet, he said.
