PESHAWAR: Indian spy agency, RAW is involved in the suicide bomb blast that took place near Police Line in Peshawar as the attack was orchestrated and funded from abroad, Bol News reported quoting sources as saying.
The sources said the investigation team has found traces of the mastermind and the foreign agency involved in its funding. The suicide attack was carried out by the Jamaat ul Ahraar Group. The mastermind of the attack was Mukarram alias Sarbakaf, the sources added.
They said eight people facilitated in the Police Line bomb blast incident. The motorcycle used in the attack was sold 13 times, they said. “The investigation team has found the last owner of the bike,” the sources said.

On February 3, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif had announced Rs two million for the heirs of all martyrs and Rs five lakh for those injured in the deadly suicide attack at police lines’ mosque on January 30.
Addressing the Apex Committee meeting held under his chairmanship here at Governor House, the Prime Minister had said the compensation amount was not an alternative to the grief and sorrow through which the victims’ families were passing through but was a token of relief on the part of federal government to ease the financial difficulties of members of the bereaved families and injured victims.
The prime minister had said the entire nation including civil and military armed forces, civil society, people and government officials had rendered great sacrifices in war against terrorism.
On the other hand, Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif had said the federal government would extend maximum support in strengthening the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and police of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) to help it better fight terrorism.
