- Harry and Meghan will no longer be treated as senior members of family.
- Palace has stated that only full-time working royals would be welcomed.
- They will sit in less prominent seats at King Charles III’s coronation.
Since they stood down as senior working royals and appeared in the media to shame their relatives in the name of ‘truth’ about the Palace, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s reputation in the royal family has crumbled.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been warned that they would no longer be treated as senior members of the royal family as they were before stepping down.
The pair may be invited to King Charles III’s coronation, although they will most likely be seated in less prominent seats as non-working royals.
Katie Nicholl, a royal author, wrote: “Now that they are no longer working royals, the Sussexes can expect to be treated the same way as Harry’s cousins Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, who attend important family occasions but are not in the spotlight and do not appear on the Buckingham Palace balcony.”
It is worth noting that the Palace has already stated that only full-time working royals would be welcomed to appear on the balcony during Coronation weekend in May.
