Today’s 15th West Asia Baseball Cup semifinal games were postponed due to inclement weather.

Today at 10 a.m. in Islamabad, Pakistan and Sri Lanka were set to play in the tournament’s semifinal. At 1pm, the second semi-final of the competition featured Palestine vs. Bangladesh.

The semi-finals, however, had to be postponed due to weather.

On Tuesday, the final four games will be played (January 31).

The 43rd-ranked Pakistani team opened the tournament by defeating Afghanistan 17-0, and the hosts trounced Bangladesh 14-0 in the second match.

The West Asia Cup will feature teams from Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, and Palestine, it should be emphasised.

The top two teams from the West Asia Cup advance to the Asian Baseball Championship, which takes place in Taiwan and serves as a Baseball World Cup qualifier.
