Jeremy Clarkson slams Prince Harry, Andrew for causing ‘irreversible damage’

  • Prince Andrew and Harry’s book could lead to the downfall of the monarchy.
  • The host argues that the scandals are damaging the institution.
  • Andrew’s association with Jeffrey Epstein could lead to the Firm’s demise.

After Queen Elizabeth II passed away in September of last year, King Charles III immediately assumed the throne. However, concerns about the monarchy in England soon surfaced.

In a recent article, Jeremy Clarkson made the argument that the scandals surrounding Prince Andrew and Harry’s discoveries had seriously harmed the monarchy.

The former Top Gear host worries that Harry’s shocking insight into the royal family in his memoir, Spare, and the Duke of York’s infamous association with the late convicted se* offender Jeffrey Epstein could lead to the Firm’s demise.

“People are saying that thanks to Prince Andrew and Harry’s book, the whole royal thing is broken, that you could take it down to Jay Blades’ Repair Shop barn but the experts would be forced to conclude that all of the king’s horseman and all of the king’s men couldn’t possibly put it back together again,” according to Clarkson, who received a lot of heat for his earlier article about Meghan Markle, the wife of Prince Harry.

He continued: “I see their point. The monarchy is built on a foundation of mysticism. It derives its magic powers from forces we don’t understand. It’s an institution built on fairy dust. And that is lost somewhat when they’re all falling in dog bowls and, like Prince Andrew, giving money to girls they’ve never met.”

In his final statement, Clarkson predicted that the public will “look at William and Kate and think: ‘You know what, I’d rather have them'” if a president were to be chosen when Charles’ reign ends.
