Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan, and Shaheen Afridi, Pakistani bowler, squared off before to the eighth Pakistan Super League (PSL).
The Lahore Qalandars released a video of the pair practising in the nets at the National High Performance Centre on Saturday.
It should be remembered that during PSL 8, Afridi will manage the reigning champions Qalandars while Azam will oversee Peshawar Zalmi.

Before the trade and retention windows closed, Zalmi made one of the biggest trades of the competition by securing Azam in the Platinum category and the first pick in the supplementary round for Haider Ali and Shoaib Malik, who move to Karachi Kings in the Platinum and Diamond categories, respectively.
With 2413 runs scored in 68 games, the talented right-hander is the PSL’s all-time leading scorer.
It should be mentioned that the PSL 8 opening ceremony will take place in Multan on February 13 before the tournament’s first match between Multan Sultans and Qalandars, the 2021 champions. The closing ceremony and championship game, however, will be held on March 19 in Lahore, which will also host the playoffs.
Qalandars will try to become the first team to win consecutive championships, while Islamabad United will try to make history by winning the trophy three times.
Each of the Karachi Kings, Qalandars, Sultans, and United will host five games, one against each team.
Eleven games will be played in Rawalpindi, nine games each in Karachi and Lahore, and five games in Multan.
The lone doubleheader, featuring Peshawar Zalmi vs. Qalandars and United vs. Sultans on March 7, will be held in Rawalpindi.
