KARACHI: A court in Karachi on Thursday indicted Dania Shah – third wife of the host Aamir Liaquat – in an obscene video case.
As per details, a case was heard in the court related to obscene videos of Aamir Liaquat that went viral on social media during the last days of the host’s life.
The case has been filed against Dania Shah for making and sharing the video on social media by Liaquat’s daughter Dua Aamir.
The court has issued notice to FIA and ordered the trial to begin on February 2.
Meanwhile, Dania Shah denied the charges against her and maintained that the case has been filed as she wanted a post-mortem of her husband.
The court said that Dania you have been charged with making and sharing a video of Dr Aamir to which she replied that it is a conspiracy against her.
“These are false and baseless allegations.”
Earlier, Dania Shah was arrested from Lodhran after a complaint was filed against her in the FIA for making and sharing the obscene video of the host.
The FIA has registered an FIR under Sections 20, 21 and 24 of the PICA Ordinance 2016 and has arrested the accused after important evidence came to light after the investigation.
