ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb on Tuesday said there had been a slight change in homecoming plan of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Senior Vice President and Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz who would now land in Lahore on January 28 at 03:05pm.

The minister announced the change in travel plan of the PML-N chief organiser on her twitter handle.

A day earlier, the information minister had said that Maryam Nawaz would leave London on January 26 and reach Lahore on January 28, Saturday night at 8 pm.

However, PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif will not be coming to Pakistan any time soon. Sources said that Maryam Nawaz is to take charge of the politics upon her return and will supervise the party matters in Pakistan.

Notably, she has recently been given the responsibilities of senior vice president and chief organizer by Nawaz Sharif.

Earlier, the PML-N leader announced that Maryam is not coming back to Pakistan on January 22 as she has to attend two important meetings in London. The meetings will be attended by the senior leadership of the party including Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah.
