Special assistant to the Prime Minister of Poverty Alleviation and Social Protection Dr. Sania Nishtar said that the number of persons who availed the Ehsaas Program has risen from 12 million to 16.16 million.
Sania Nishter said in a series of tweets on Wednesday that provincial quotas are population-based in category II and III of Ehsaas Emergency Cash.
She added that all eligible applicants are being supported in categories IV and V as per the PM’s directions.
She continued that many deserving applicants in Singh are being benefitted from the program.
