Chairman China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Lt. General (retired) Asim Saleem Bajwa has on Wednesday said that some detractors are giving false impression of the project being slowed.

Asim Saleem Bajwa took to his Twitter handle and said not only pace of work on projects has picked up recently, a great deal ground work is done to launch phase-2.

Furthermore he said $ 7.2 billion ML-1, two Hydel Power projects investing $3.5 billion, special economic zones (SEZs) and agriculture are coming soon.

Moreover he added that scope of the project is actually enhanced.
