The eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) schedule was released on Friday by Najam Sethi, chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee.
After a memorable opening ceremony, the Lahore Qalandars, the PSL 7 champions, will square off against the Multan Sultans, the PSL 2021 champions, in the tournament’s opening game on February 13.
On February 19, at the National Bank Cricket Arena, the champions will play their fiercest rivals, the Karachi Kings, in a match that is sure to be a crowd favourite.
The Shaheen Shah Afridi-led team will then play Quetta Gladiators at the same location two days later in their third round-robin match.
In addition, the Qalandars will play five of the ten games on their home field and the other five at three separate locations.

In the interim, the PSL 8 replacement draught will occur on January 24.
The PCB has also granted franchises’ requests to increase the player pool. Franchises will now choose two players from the additional category to round up their 20-player team.
