SIBI: At least 15 passengers got injured as seven coaches and the engine of Jafar Express train derailed by the explosion in Sibi.
The terrorists who carried out the bomb blast could not be identified. The intensity of the explosion was so much that a sic-feet section of the railway track was greatly affected and a four-feet deep pit was also created.

The passengers were rescued by the volunteers of the rescue teams and given first aid and transferred to Sibi CMH and hospitals in Mach and Quetta for medical assistance. While the rescue work is still going on, the injured include three women and a child.
There are also reports that three people were killed in the blast, but the death toll has not yet been confirmed officially.
As soon as the railway authorities received the information of the blast, they and rescue teams including Deputy Commissioner Kuchchi Samiullah Agha have reached the spot. The train was stopped at Sibi railway station.
According to the railway authorities remaining passengers will be taken to Mutch through public transport, while the Jafar Express coming from Peshawar to Much has been stopped at Sabi railway station. The passengers will be brought to Quetta by wagons till late night, however, the railway traffic will be stopped for now and will be restored within 24 hours.
The incident happened at Kohsar while the train was enroute from Machh to Peshawar. The blast is said to be done using a remote control device.
