- Karachi braved the coldest night

KARACHI: The citizens of Karachi braved the coldest night of the winter season as the mercury dropped to 6 °C last night.
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported that the minimum temperature in Karachi was recorded at 6 °C with 50% humidity in the air.
The weather is likely to remain severely cold till January 17. During the next 24 hours, the winds will continue to blow at a speed of 10-12 km/h.
On the other hand, weather across the country had turned chilly as most parts had been experiencing rain and snow contributing to the drop in mercury.
Most parts of the country are in the grip of dense fog including the plains of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, however, Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad and Mohenjo Daro.
