In addition, there are a number of US-trained Pakistanis in the media, academia, think tanks, the civil service, and even the uniformed military. It would be advantageous to use these networks to defend relations between the two countries.
The strength of the US-Pakistan friendship is demonstrated by the more than US$66 million in US support for flood and disaster preparedness in Pakistan, including an additional US$10 million announced by Minister Blinken this week.
Ambassador Blome reiterated continued US support for Pakistan during the difficult reconstruction process.
Looking to the future of these two countries marks good diplomatic dynamics to their relationship and their strategic interests and reframes the US-Pakistan partnership which recognizes our shared objective and mutual ambition.
There are many opportunities to advance US-Pakistan shared interest in trade, investment, Energy, health, security, and education sectors.
