Iran confirmed more than one hundred deaths from the coronavirus over the last 24 hours today (Jun 14).
According to the details, Iran has confirmed 107 deaths from COVID-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the total death toll of the country to 8,837.
Health Ministry spokesman Sima Sadat Lari said, a further 2,472 people tested positive for coronavirus, raising the overall cases to 187,427.
The sources said that 148,674 coronavirus patients have been recovered and been discharged from hospitals.
The health ministry further said that 1.244 million people have been tested in the country for coronavirus.
Earlier, Iran has unveiled the capsule hotels to be used as a new form of accommodation in different provinces of the country.
Iranian Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Ali Asghar Munesan said that in the first phase, 200 units of this capsule hotels will be set up in different cities, including Tehran, Mashhad, Isfahan, Shiraz and Tabriz.
