A meeting under the chairmanship of Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari regarding local government elections in Karachi and Hyderabad has started at Sindh Chief House in Karachi late night on Monday.

Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, provincial ministers, PPP Karachi Division president and government officials were present in the meeting. The participants discussed new political situation developed after the MQM-P call against the LG polls in Karachi and Hyderabad.

The sources said that new instructions had been issued to the SSPs of Hyderabad and Karachi by top police officers after a meeting.
