KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will address the citizens of Karachi and Hyderabad regarding local bodies elections on January 13, Bol News reported on Thursday.
The PTI in a statement said screens would be installed at 25 public locations for live broadcasting speech of Imran Khan. Arrangements in this regard are being finalized by the political party.
The announcement has been made after an important development of merger of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-P, Farooq Sattar and Pak Sarzameen Party took place just few days prior to the local government elections.

The local bodies elections in Karachi and Hyderabad would be held on January 15.
Meanwhile, Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) and former MQM convener Farooq Sattar have announced to merge into Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P).
Speaking at a joint press conference held at the Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan’s (MQM-P) headquarters in Bahadurabad on Thursday, MQM-P Convener Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, PSP chief Mustafa Kamal and Dr Farooq Sattar made this announcement in presence of a large number of parties’ workers.
Amir Khan, Waseem Akhtar, Anis Kaimkhani and Nasreen Jalil and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
Kamal and Dr Sattar announced that they would work under the leadership of Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui.
