Punjab Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has signed the summary for the dissolution of the provincial assembly and sent it the Governor.

PTI senior leader Fawad Hussain and others made this announcement while talking to media persons at Imran Khan’s Park Zaman residence in Lahore on Thursday.

He further said that on the same format, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assembly would be dissolved on Saturday.

Fawad said that if the Punjab governor would not approve the summary so within 48 hours the assembly would be dissolved on its own.

He said that a letter would be written to Opposition Leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz within the next 48 hours for care-taking set-up.

He said that the conduct of elections will be responsibility of the Election Commission of Pakistan within 90 days.

Fawad claimed that they had fear of going to the people of Pakistan to get a fresh mandate but the PML-N and PDM were running from the elections.

Meanwhile, the sources said that PTI chairman Imran Khan would address the nation any time today and would make a formal announcement for the Punjab and KP assemblies.

According to Bol News, Imran Khan also instructed the KP Chief Minister for the dissolution of the assembly.
