- SHC grants relief to Shahbaz Gill in three cases
- The cases were disposed off in Karachi
- He was arrested for derogatory remarks
KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) Thursday granted relief to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shahbaz Gill in three cases.
SHC has dismissed the sedition cases against the PTI leader after the submission of a police report in court.
The cases were registered against Shahbaz Gill in Brigade, Rizvia and Sarjani police stations.
Pertinently, the cases against Gill were registered against his derogatory statements for the institutions.
Shahbaz Gill maintained in his petition that only a single case can be registered for one incident and requested the court to null and void the cases against him filed in Karachi.
Earlier, the court ordered the Police not to arrest the leader for the three cases against him filed in Karachi.
