Ramiz Raja, a former chairman and Test cricketer for the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has been added to the list of pensioners.
Raja was added to the list of pensioners shared by PCB’s management committee on Wednesday after his dismissal as chairman made him eligible for a pension.
After being fired from his position as chairman of the PCB, Raja—who turned 60 during that time—reportedly applied for a pension.
His request was granted by PCB, who now has 64 former Test cricketers on the list. Raja will begin receiving a pension in February 2023.
Additionally, PCB provided information on pensions for various categories. Twenty-four former Test cricketers will receive PKR 154,000, seven PKR 148,000, and thirty-two PKR 142,000.
Imran Khan, a former Test cricketer and former prime minister, will also receive PKR154,000 per month in pension.
