Yashal released an 11-minute video on Instagram in which she said that despite everything seeming well, she had started feeling strange a few months before. With time, it got worse to the point where she was considering suicide. She sought medical attention at that point, and a clinical depression diagnosis was made. Yashal is from Islamabad initially, but she moved to Karachi for professional reasons. She is very close to her family.
