Momal Sheikh discussed her thoughts on Behroze Sabzwari‘s contentious remark in a recent interview about women’s clothes on bikes.Momal Sheikh, who is also Behroze Sabzwari’s niece, said:
“It is his point of view, maybe it was something he observed while he was coming to the interview and he expressed his thoughts. Maybe it was something that stuck in his mind and he wanted to talk about it, whenever we come to the show we don’t talk about the scripted things, we speak our hearts out, so I can give him the benefit of doubt, maybe it was something disturbing him.”
She further added,
“Now people should move on and let it go, and if anything has to be asked it should be from Behroze Sabzwari and not me.”
In response to a question on how the general public views clothing, Momal asserted that she is powerless to influence people’s thinking.

For the uninitiated, in a recent podcast interview with Nadir Ali, renowned actor Behroze Sabzwari commented that performers should pay more attention to their attire and rather wear the national outfit rather than emulating western cultures.
Behroze Sabzwari made a comment regarding women’s attire as well as what he considered to be improper attire worn by ladies riding motorcycles. He claims they don’t cover themselves completely and dress in tight, transparent clothing.
