Prince Harry has exposed the truth about the infamous “Tiara-gate” controversy in his shocking biography Spare.
In an argument about a tiara prior to their wedding in 2018, the Duke of Sussex is alleged to have said, “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets,” according to long-standing claims.
Prior to their royal wedding, Meghan Markle and Harry allegedly visited Buckingham Palace to check over a variety of headwear alternatives.
The late Queen reportedly told Meghan: “Tiaras suit you” after she decided to wear one with emeralds and another with aquamarines.
She was supposedly told that the former Suits star could not wear the tiara, to which Harry apparently replied, “What Meghan wants, Meghan gets.” This claim was later refuted.
The incident’s truth has since come to light thanks to Harry, who revealed in Spare the Queen’s royal dresser, Angela Kelly, warned him that taking the tiara to see Meghan’s hairdresser “couldn’t be done.”
According to Page Six, Harry wrote: “She fixed me with a look that made me shiver. I could read in her face a clear warning. This isn’t over.”
