In Karachi. The most recent famous person to denounce Major (r) Adil Raja for making deplorable accusations against the nation’s leading actresses is Pakistani actor Zara Noor Abbas.

A day after Adil Raja, a notorious YouTuber and former military officer, claimed that some actresses were used by agencies as “honey traps” for their own advantage, Zara came to their defence.

The Ehd-e-Wafa actress expressed her rage by saying, “Freedom of speech did not grant anyone the right to link women to men or the other way around.” “She wouldn’t keep silent if she were an actress because you would criticise her for the luxuries of her position.”

Being an ex-army officer “definitely doesn’t imply you will be appreciated for your ridiculous beliefs,” she continued.

“Accountability counts, and it will be called into question by whoever brings allegations against women or men without facts,” the actor added.

On Monday, Major (r) Adil Raja said that the country’s authorities had employed at least five Lollywood celebrities as “honey traps.” Following his remarks, trolls started posting disparaging things on social media, which sparked a backlash from the entertainment community, which denounced the practice.

Major Adil Raja hits back

The controversial geopolitical analyst responded to Kubra Khan’s threat of legal action by fleeing Pakistan after resigning from his position.

The ex-serviceman claimed in a social media post that he had not disparaged Kubra Khan, citing his “condemnation” of the rife rumours that surfaced following his video as proof.

Raja said that Ehd-e-Wafa had slandered him by specifically mentioning him in her post.
