However, DOGE has increased by 30% after Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter was formally revealed at the end of October. The community of Dogecoin is still hopeful that this will actually materialise sooner or later, greatly increasing the altcoin’s worth. This takeover raised hopes that Twitter will eventually allow DOGE payments or tips in some kind.

Technical signs indicate that the current rally may last at least until the weekend as DOGE’s momentum builds.

Its relative strength index (purple), which briefly rose to around 30 and was noticeably oversold area a few days ago, has since started to recover. The fact that it has a present value of 40 suggests that there is still opportunity for growth, which lends credence to the notion that DOGE’s recent ascent might continue.

The altcoin’s 30-day moving average (red) has also rebounded from the setback it experienced earlier this month. It presently appears as though it might start to move above DOGE’s 200-day average, suggesting potential price gains (blue).
