KARACHI: Former federal minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has practically merged with the federal government.
In his Twitter message, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that democracy is being completely abolished in Pakistan under a plan.
The former federal minister said that first the fundamental rights were suspended, and now the institutions are being abolished.
PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said that the Election Commissioner and his associates are the villains of the people of Pakistan.

Earlier, PTI leader Asad Qaiser on Thursday said Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervaiz Ashraf is using delaying tactics in acceptance of PTI member national assembly(MNA’s) resignations.
He said Speaker National Assembly had accepted 11 MNAs of PTI under pick and choose policy in past and now he is using delaying tactics to accept resignations. He further said PTI won a majority of vacant seats.
