LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) decided to hold a nationwide protest against inflation on Friday(today) under the supervision of party MNAs and MPAs.
According to the details, as per the decision made in the senior leadership meeting of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) under the leadership of Imran Khan, nationwide protests will be held from today (Friday) against inflation.
In this regard, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry, while releasing the protest schedule, said that in the first phase, protest rallies will be held in the constituencies for three weeks under the leadership of MNAs and MPs, and after three weeks. In the second phase, the former prime minister Inran Khan and other party leadership will lead the protest rallies.
Fawad Chaudhry said that there will be a protest against the arrest of Senator Azam Swati on December 02. The protest will continue from time to time until the government leaves.
The PTI leader further said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf rejects the technocrat government, there is no room for such type of government in Pakistan. He said the demand of the people is immediate and transparent elections.
It should be noted that in a senior party leadership meeting chaired by Chairman PTI Imran Khan in Zaman Park Lahore. The PTI will resume the protest movement today.
On the other hand, the sources said that Imran Khan will meet the assembly members and party leaders in Lahore Zaman Park today.
The matter related to resignations in the National Assembly will be reviewed in the meetings.
Sources said that there will also be a consultation on the vote of confidence in Punjab and the dissolution of the provincial assembly.

It should be noted that very strict security arrangements have been made in Zaman Park and surveillance is being done with the help of CCTV cameras around Imran Khan’s residence.
