Fawad Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi’s magnum effort brought Bilal Lashari’s brilliance back to large screens.

The film still dominates Pakistani theatres and was a hit in Europe and the UK. India demanded the film’s release, but Pakistani films are banned there while Indian films are forbidden in Pakistan. The Legend of Maula Jatt will be released in Indian Punjab and Delhi defying bans.
