Forbes makes a list every year of the highest-paid female athletes in the world, and for the third year in a row, Naomi Osaka is at the top. Serena Williams, Emma Raducanu, Iga Swiatek, Venus Williams, Coco Gauff, and Jessica Pegula are among the other seven players who made the list’s Top 10.
Forbes’ list of the world’s highest-paid athletes has only two women on it: Osaka and Serena. Forbes says that only six athletes made more from endorsements outside of their sport than Osaka did this year.

Forbes’ 2022 list shows how much more money female athletes are making. This year, twice as many of the highest-paid female athletes made more than $10 million than in 2021. It is the first time since the magazine started the list in 2008 that more than seven women have reached that level in a single year. This year, Swiatek, Raducanu, and Gauff were the first to reach that point.
