A Shiba Inu appears on the emblem of Dogecoin (DOGE), which is based on the well-known “doge” Internet meme. The open-source digital currency, which was forked from Litecoin in December 2013, was developed by Billy Markus from Portland, Oregon, and Jackson Palmer from Sydney, Australia.
The developers of Dogecoin intended it to be a humorous, lighthearted cryptocurrency that would appeal to a wider audience than just Bitcoin users because it was based on a dog meme. Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, frequently mentioned Dogecoin on social media.

Doge Price Prediction:
In the last day, Dogecoin’s price increased by 5% to $0.077698 and its daily trading volume increased to more than $800 million. Despite this rise, its current price indicates that it has lost 21% in the past 30 days and 8% in the last week.
Contrarily, DOGE has increased by 30% since the end of October, when Elon Musk’s acquisition of Twitter was officially announced. This takeover increased anticipation that Twitter will implement DOGE payments or tipping in some way, and the Dogecoin community is still optimistic that this will actually happen sooner or later, significantly increasing the altcoin’s value.

The momentum of DOGE is currently picking up, and its technical indicators indicate that the current rally may last at least until the weekend.
Its relative strength index (purple) has started to rise after briefly reaching almost 30 a few days ago, clearly oversold territory. Its current level of 40 suggests that it still has capacity to grow, which lends credence to the notion that DOGE’s current surge may continue.
The altcoin’s 30-day moving average (red) has also reversed the loss it saw earlier this month. It currently appears as though it might start rising above DOGE’s 200-day average (blue), pointing to future price increases.
