Morocco has improved from 22nd to 11th in the most recent FIFA world ranking, which was revealed on Thursday, Following their achievements at the 2022 FIFA Global Cup.

The Atlas Lions, the first African team to ever make it to the World Cup semifinals, were defeated 2-0 by France in the World Cup semifinals before falling to Croatia 2-1 in the third-place playoff, capping up their historic run with a memorable fourth place.

Morocco is currently the top-ranked squad in Africa, ahead of Senegal (19th), Tunisia (30th), Cameroon (33rd), and Nigeria (35th).

Following Brazil in order since February are Argentina, France, Belgium, and England.

The top 10 is completed by the Netherlands, Croatia, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.
