Trooping the Color, King Charles‘ ceremonial birthday parade, will take place on June 17, 2023, according to the Buckingham Palace.
It will occur 42 days after Monarch Charles’ coronation, who became king in September 2022 following the passing of his mother, Queen Elizabeth.
The palace also announced Kate, William, and Camilla’s appointments as New Colonels for the Welsh Guards, Grenadier Guards, and respectively (Irish Guards).
A statement from the palace reads, “Each regiment has a colonel who is normally either royal family member or a senior officer.
