PM Shehbaz Sharif formed interim committee to run affairs of PCB

  • Shehbaz Sharif established an interim committee of 14 members.
  • Najam Sethi was nominated as the chairman of the committee.
  • The committee will restore the PCB’s 2014 constitution.

Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif, established an interim committee of 14 members to manage run the affairs of PCB.

Najam Sethi, who has previously served in that capacity for the PCB from (24 June 2013 – 21 July 2014) and (10 August 2017 – 20 August 2018), was proposed for the role of chairman of the committee.

Shakeel Sheikh, Gulzada Nauman Butt, and Haroon Rasheed are some of the people who serve on the committee.

Tanveer Ahmed, Shahid Afridi, and Sana Mir were a few of the other members of the committee.

The PCB‘s constitution from 2014 will be reinstated by the committee. The re-establishment of departmental cricket is intended to be the result of the constitutional amendments currently being debated.
